In this activity you will investigate the types of packaging used in your lunch and identify them as reusable or not. Make sure you have a typical packed lunch with you!

Activities
- Review the terms reduce, reuse and recycle (below).
- Open your lunch and examine the packaging of each item. Sort the items into reusable, not reusable or unsure. Count how many are in each category.
- Watch the video Plastic Packaging (below)
- Look at each item in your lunch again. How can you reduce the number of not reusable / unsure items?
- Complete the quiz below.
- Make a poster that encourages people to use less packaging in their lunches. Take a picture and submit it to your teacher.
